i is for influence – Rob Yeung

01 Feb

Having just got back from visiting friends in Australia, I have had time to read a book I have wanted to get stuck into for ages by Rob Yeung called ‘i is for Influence’.

The book is about how we can influence and persuade others in all sorts of situations. I found it extremely interesting and want to share some of his findings with you over the next couple of months to help you to become a more influential and persuasive recruiter.

Everything is backed up with real studies and research so I found the information to be solid. I will be sharing some of these tips with you each week in my blog. You may find some of them interesting and very beneficial when interviewing candidates, building relationships with new clients or trying to influence people over the phone.

The first blog is about being a persuasive telephone interviewer and will be posted tomorrow morning.
