Motivation

I have been asking top billing recruiters across the world how they have achieved success, kept motivated and inspired others to succeed and have put some of their comments into a 16 page ebooklet for recruiters. Each tip will help you to become more effective and increase your billings. The first tip in the booklet focuses on finding out what you truly value, what motivates and drives you forward.

Motivation is linked to setting yourself challenging goals, your belief that you have the skills and abilities to achieve these goals and your expectation that if you work hard enough you will succeed. It relies on self-confidence, positive thinking, focus, strong goals and a motivating environment.

Have you ever sat down and thought about why you go to work? It could be for the money or because you like being around great people. You may love your job and the fact that you can afford to buy things when you want to. Or you may think that going to work is better than just sitting around at home?

Some people are motivated by the thought of getting or achieving something where as others are motivated by the fear if they don’t do something they will suffer the consequences.

Everyone is motivated by different reasons and these are your driving forces. Have a think about what your life would be like if you were a highly motivated person achieving everything in life you have set out to do. What needs to happen for you to be this motivated person?
